ARVADA, CO (April 6, 2015) – In celebration of our 40th Anniversary, Community First Foundation is pleased to announce an updated organization brand, which includes a new website and logo tagline.
“At Community First Foundation, our name says it all,” says Marla J. Williams, president and CEO, Community First Foundation. “As a leading community foundation in Colorado, we are dedicated to building strong communities. Our new look reflects how we serve as a connector, partner, collaborator and resource to address vital community issues and unite the power of many for the good of all.”
40 Years Strong
Community First Foundation was founded in 1975 as the Lutheran Medical Center Foundation. Over the years, our name has changed and our geographic focus has expanded to better reflect our role in helping generous donors and innovative nonprofits come together to improve the quality of life and create positive change in Jefferson County, the Denver metropolitan area and beyond. As we celebrate 40 years and look to the future, we are more committed than ever to creating opportunities, impacting lives and improving futures.
Our redesigned website makes it easier to find important information, such as our strategic priorities. It also highlights how we inspire giving, strengthen nonprofits, support donors and find new ways to address community needs. We invite those with a vision and passion for community to join our First Faces online community by uploading a photo. Instructions are on the website’s home page at CommunityFirstFoundation.org.
Our new tagline, Powering Community Together, describes our unique role in bringing together community partners to find innovative and effective solutions for some of our most challenging social problems. It captures the essence of who we are, what we do and why our work matters.
