Community First Foundation is proud to be a leader in helping nonprofits build endowments. These long-term funds are invested for the future needs of an organization so the good they do can keep going. Endowments also provide a steady revenue source, allow donors to leave a legacy and convey stability, fiscal responsibility and prudent planning.
We fund programs within these three focus areas: 1) promoting mental wellness, 2) strengthening nonprofits and 3) honoring our heritage in Jefferson County.
The Foundation partnered with Red Rocks Community College to create the Nonprofit Pathway certificate program. This higher education program is designed to prepare individuals to enter the nonprofit sector, provide additional training to experienced professionals and ensure Colorado’s nonprofits have access to a skilled, inclusive and diverse workforce.
