ARVADA, Colo. (April 24, 2020) – Community First Foundation has awarded $970,500 in grant funding is to 92 Jefferson County nonprofits through its Jeffco Hope Fund, a fund established to address critical emergency response needs in Jefferson County.

The fund was established to meet emergent needs and strengthen and stabilize Jeffco community organizations responding to and impacted by COVID-19. Round 1 awards focused on supporting frontline organizations providing direct services to mitigate the negative impacts of COVID-19.

A second round of grant awards is open and focuses on Nonprofit Stabilization support for nonprofits who may not be providing direct services but have been negatively impacted due to suspended programming, canceled fundraising events and/or shrinking or lack of resources to continue their work during this period of social isolation. This round focuses on nonprofits providing both immediate crisis relief and support to agencies indirectly impacted.  Award amounts range between $2,500 to $15,000.
