ARVADA, Colo. (May 26, 2017) – Community First Foundation is pleased to announce the promotion of Lynda Ricketson to Vice President of Philanthropic Services. She assumes her new role September 1, 2017, after the retirement of current Vice President of Development Vickie M. Wilson. Ricketson has served as director of development at the Foundation since April 2016.
In her new role, Ricketson will serve as primary development strategist to grow the organization’s assets by identifying, cultivating and stewarding nonprofit and donor prospects. She will work closely with the Community First Foundation senior leadership team to develop and implement innovative and strategic initiatives to grow the organization’s assets with a critical focus on the Foundation’s donor-advised fund portfolio.
With more than 25 years of fundraising experience in Denver, Ricketson is known for her deep understanding and knowledge of community philanthropy. She has held leadership positions with Rose Community Foundation, The University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work and The Women’s Foundation of Colorado.
