Arvada, CO (June 9, 2014) Community First Foundation announces the appointment of Noah M. Atencio to the newly-created position of Vice President of Community Impact.
In this role, Atencio will lead the effort to build a strong, strategic and efficient grantmaking program and link the Foundation’s vision for community impact with community needs.

Williams, president and CEO, Community First Foundation. “His background, skills and knowledge of grantmaking in Colorado will be a valuable asset as we continue to build a high-performing, effective community impact organization.”
Noah comes to Community First Foundation from the Daniels Fund, where for eight years he served as assistant vice president of grants programs. In that role, he managed a portfolio of grants as part of a $38 million grants budget in areas defined by Bill Daniels: aging, alcoholism & substance abuse, amateur sports, early childhood education, K-12 education reform, ethics & integrity in education, homeless and disadvantaged, and youth development. He has also held leadership positions with El Pomar Foundation and the University of Southern Colorado.
