ARVADA, CO (August 25, 2014) – Nonprofit fundraiser and financial services professional Vickie M. Wilson has joined Community First Foundation as Vice President of Development.
Wilson is responsible for developing and implementing the Foundation’s strategic vision for fundraising, expanding the philanthropy of individuals, families and businesses, and supporting the charitable work of nonprofit organizations.
“Vickie is a community giving expert and a great resource for donors,” said Marla J. Williams, president and CEO of Community First Foundation. “Her background and depth of experience will not only help Community First Foundation identify ways to extend our reach into the community and make a lasting impact, but she will also help individual donors leave a legacy by identifying and supporting causes that are meaningful to them.”

“These are especially exciting times for the Community First Foundation and I am thrilled to join its leadership and help the Foundation accomplish its vision,” Wilson said. “Community foundations play a vital role in supporting the work of charitable organizations and the philanthropy of individuals, families and businesses. I feel privileged to be a part of Community First’s commitment to philanthropic growth and community impact.”
