Who is Community First + What is Colorado Gives?

Community First Foundation has been connecting donors and innovative Colorado nonprofits since 1975. We are a community foundation whose purpose is to make good happen by connecting people, ideas, and nonprofits. While our fundraising is statewide, our grantmaking is focused on Jeffco. We help donors, both individual and organizational, throughout Colorado create giving accounts to fulfill their charitable interests. We also make grants to nonprofits so that all of Jeffco is thriving. Our work is rooted in radical listening and a commitment to equity and inclusion. We are also the founders of and continue to run Colorado Gives 365, an online giving platform that connects donors to nonprofits and causes they care about. The donation platform runs 24/7/365 and Colorado Gives Day is the second largest event of its kind in the country, raising $55 million in a single day last year.
